Who was your first celebrity crush?

How has that helped you with your running career?

Well I don't know who my first crush was but my crush today is Lolo Jones. I just want to meet her so I guess it makes me want to be better haha.

Ah, Michael, I see that you come from a rather Amish filled area. Any crazy stories about the horse and the buggy and the training runs? Have you ever held a butter churning deathmatch with Amish cousins Zeke, Jedidiah, and Mervin? Ever make Grandma Miller faint because of the short shorts on a hot summer day?

Rumor has it that in high school, to work on speed and resistance training, you pulled a buggy from Elnora to Odon to Montgomery to Shoals and back to Odon. Then you did a simple training run back to Elnora. Can this be confirmed?

In other news, what are you doing to prep yourself for this coming spring's steeple season?

Yes I do come from an area with quite a few Amish. No horse and buggie running related stories but in my 8th grade pe class my friend David Lee Stoll beat me in a 1600 4:53 to 4:54. No joke been beat by an Amish haha. Now to the steeple preparation, well I'm focusing on mid distance for indoor to work on my speed but am still at decent mileage. Twice a week I work on my jumping with hurdles and do my drills. I will get more descriptive as outdoor gets closer.

In Will.I.Am's latest radio hit "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)", Jennifer Lopez states, "You can go hard or you can go home." How long should you 'go hard' before diminishing returns kicks in? Is it ever smart to just 'go home'?
