I thought there were some regulations on Chesterton's old version of Sunset Hill about the back sand hill. But I would imagine they would be using the Valpo course unless something else has changed there that I do not know.

And yes, anybody who predicted Gary West Side over Northridge deserves some recognition.

They used Valpo's old course for the guys. First loop was in the front then to the woods and finished by the red barn. Girls was different.

I was at the meet and some of the West Side runners did not run the full course, only the first two miles. Had those people ran the full course West Side's score would have been much much much higher.

Moore probably had a sub par performance because Northridge was late to the meet and had no time to warm up.

I actually ran in the meet and heard it from our coach. The other coaches talked it over and they all said who cares it is only August, so nobody said anything.

Yup. I am hearing Northridge LITERALLY got off the bus and went straight to the line for the race. Could the race not get delayed 20 minutes so they could warm up?

Didn't hear about the W.S runners not running the full course. How does that happen? Who's runnin' the show Valpo?!?

How tough was the course that the girls ran? Devries beating Chester by that much is noteworthy, even if it is August.

Don't forget she's also been training and playing soccer at this point. It takes her a bit longer to take form than the others.

I believe it is Ramadan. He fasts during this week and does not run.

2nd the Devries/Chester comment. Jordan rarely runs super fast in the early fall. She defintely runs herself into shape.

He will be fasting for roughly a month (next full moon) if he is doing Ramadan.

Just a guess there. I seem to recall an article in the newspaper just last year about how he takes his religion very seriously and participates in the practice of it during this time....

In response to the different course...Valpo girls did run a new course, not sure why. And Chesterton's old course is out, and both teams have a new course, but that is not the course that the girls ran on last week.
