Central finished first in the City Invitational, with Southside placing second, Yorktown third, Wes-Del fourth and Wapahani fifth. The Rebels' Ethan Evans won the meet in a course record 16:36 at the Muncie SportsPlex. Austin Green of Central was second, Stefan Harry of Wapahani was third, Joe Sours was tops for Yorktown in sixth, and Brandon Blackmer led Wes-Del in 16th.

GIRLS

Yorktown claimed the first five individual places and won the City Invitational. Central was second, Wapahani third, Southside fourth and Wes-Del was incomplete. The Tigers' Lexi Hunt won in 21:42 and Betsy Lowry was second in 21:51. McKenna Young of Central was sixth, Alyssa Jackson of Wapahani was eighth, Jennifer Lewis of Southside was 12th and Michaela Rector of Wes-Del was 13th.
