BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Central had five of the top six finishers and defeated Southside 17-45. For the Bearcats, Austin Green finished first and Jason Helms was second. Zach Criswell finished fourth to lead the Rebels.

Monroe Central took first, Hagestown second and Cowan third in a triangular meet at Cowan. The Golden Bears' Chase Bly won the meet in 18:24. Cowan's top runner was Blake Brooks in 13th place.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

In a triangular meet at Cowan, Hagerstown took first, Monroe Central second and Cowan third. Monroe Central's Hayley Norris was second overall, and Cowan's Riley Johnson took eighth.

With a first-place finish from Marian Horowitz, Central defeated Southside 19-48. Southside's top finisher, Carly Smith, finished second.
