Where do the results get posted, when they are posted? Primarily the AA results.

I can add alittle.

AA Results Girls
1. Portage
2. Lake Central

1. Payonk, LC
2. Plenus, LC
3. Kaisius, LC (or however you spell her name)
4. Norman, Portage
5. King, Portage
6. Del Turco, Portage.

*That's all I can remember. LC's 5th girl was way back. Portage put 6 or 7 in front of her. It was fun watching that race. Lots of gaps to fill for both squads though.

AA Results Boys
1. Lake Central, 32 ish points
2. Lowell
3. Andrean
4. Highland
5. Portage
6. Munster

*Lowell and Andrean may be reversed, but I'm pretty sure Lowell got it.
*Appiah (sp?) from HIghland ran a good race. Pulled away from the field around 2500.
*LC ran strong. Had 4 or 5 in the top 10.

There appeared to be a LOT of confusion with this race. Race start times were messed up. I guess boys were suppossed to go at 10:30am and many teams showed up being told they were running at 10am. I heard coaches saying they had never received the "new" information. Flat, fast course that's 2.5 loops. Problem is with counting laps though. I noticed a couple of runners got waved towards the chute who had more to run.

Lowell had 74 points

There was a lot of confusion. They never told any of the coaches that they were going to run the boys races first. The A boys team arrived and learned 20 or 30 minutes prior to race time they had changed the order of races. The scoring also includes everybody- they did not remove the jv runners or take out individual finishes for runners without a team score. The overall scores are higher than what they should be, especially in the A race.

And, in the Boys' A race the entire field cut the course twice (both times on the same turn at the same point on the course) so the times were 8-10 seconds faster than they shoud have been conpared to the boys' AA race. As I said though, the whole field cut 4-5 seconds per loop off of the course, so the places in the boys' A race are legit, but, when comparing, one should add 8-10 seconds per person for the A race.

The course was not marked very well. Not to mention the switching of races and the race times. They switched the AA boys and AA girls. It had some managment problems...

No way it was 8 to 10 seconds for a small turn, it wasn't more than two steps on the turn your talking about. It would not have been more than 3 seconds total maybe a second on each lap. The course was not marked very well I agree- but 8 to 10 seconds is very wishful thinking. Renneselar ran very well in the single A race, putting 4 runners under 18 minutes. Gladys would have been in the top 2 in the AA race if he had ran in it.

Yes. Where is this turn that was cut on the course? I don't know exactly where it was, I'm trying to imagine where it would be.

I heard that is was by the tennis courts, they were supposed to run around the big tree there but they were running between it and the tennis courts. Not sure if it was the same spot as previous discussed but that was one place where runners were talking about. And I think it would cut off more time that you think, it is pretty damn big tree. :D

THe turn was behind the baseball press box. I saw the Gavit coach and a couple of other coaches over there explaining it. The A race, they were saying, cut in front of the weeds instead of going between the weed patches. From what I saw it was 5-7 meters farther to the course that the runners were supposed to take. You could see where the A runners cut it off and then the meet admin strung yellow tape along the trees where the A runners cut it off.

Does Lake Central have any runners waiting in the wings that haven't raced yet or will they have to just develop the runners they currently have? This makes for an intriguing team with three potential All-Staters, a bit of a drop off to four, then a freefall to the last scorer.

What is the difficulty of this course? It appears to be pretty fast based on Payonk's time, which I believe is a state best thus far.

My fingers only type so fast and doing EVERYTHING over again is not fun. Schools will be sent Full results on Monday. This is what I sent the TIMES ... who by the way got the girls AA meet results WRONG! I never met the person or I would have mentioned our delema. The POST-TRIBUNE rep did a nice job, got his results, and even stayed out of the way of our finish chart people.
