Have you wheeled it and know this for a fact or are you taking someone's word for it? Seems as though with the differentiation that it could be short.
As someone else noted...not trying to take from the athletes..just interesting the time drops so sharply.

Comparing the times from Rushville and the Avon courses is ridiculous to say it is 30-40 seconds short. As someone that has seen Rushville, Avon and Martinsville, let me say that it is very, very possible for a good runner to drop 40 seconds to a minute from these courses. Avon has two incredibly steep hills and is run with many turns through a very windy wooded area. Rushville has a plethora of 90 degree turns.
Also, the 55 degree race temperature probably had something to do with the times. It was about 15-20 degrees hotter during race time last Saturday.
