thinking about getting toe shoes and was wondering which kind was better and more worth it for the price

Skeletoes are the long shorts of toe shoes: you only wear them if you are insecure child seeking approval, where Vibrams are the split shorts of shoes, where you have confidence in your body and own amazingness. Bottom Line: get Vibrams (I recommend the Bikilas)

get the vibrams, the whole four toe thing seems to defeat the purpose of a natural barefoot shoe.

That wasn't my issue with the skeletoes--when I tried on the skeletoes, they felt so much more stiff and structured than even my Vibram Bikilas that I couldn't see myself actually wearing them to work out.
