I believe it, this is a flat course and times should have been way faster. How do people scew up that badly

I usually hate when people call a course short/long... but what I heard is that it was measured with a Garmin. And the times were just waay off for everyone, not just a few people. It's not the same as last year, though.. you're lucky you didnt run on it this year. Lots of ugly sharp turns all over the place. And being 250 meters long.

Those turns are nasty if youre in a pack, so I'd suggest getting out fast. It makes it much easier. Other than that, just don't worry too much about the time, its probably 45-55 seconds slow

Why is it that much of a concern, throw times out the window. Or just know its 250 meters long and figure out what your pace was later. Runners aren't indy cars, its not like you have to change your spoiler configuration to handle the turns. Rest assured I'm sure there are PLENTY of straightaways for you to pass on.

But it's gonna hurt his season stats (which I'm pretty sure will get him out of semi-state)...
