This looks to have been quite an exciting race! Did anyone anticipate that Mishawaka and SBSJ would be so tight?

the main difference is the 11th and 12th place finishers.. if the 16:49s would have switch SJ would have won.. insane this must have been!

Actually, Wouldn't Mishawaka still have won on the 6th man. It would have been a 29-29 tie on the first five.

WadeEH is correct on that. Mishawaka still would have taken the victory as the 11th place finisher was their 6th man.

I definitely agree as close as each of their guys were to each other today they will differ with the size of each meet but remain similarly close!

The boys meet between Mishawaka and St. Joe was one of the best battles I have seen in a high school cross country meet. True spirit of competition. From the individual title (decided over the last 300 meters) to the team race (decided at 4999 meters) it was incredible. Two strong willed teams today came to do battle and both brought theie best. Excellent effort on both sides. Applaud both my runners and the Mishawaka boys. Wish more could have been there to see it.

Do both of these teams share the same path to the State Finals as far as Sectional, Regional, and Semi-State?
