Golden Bears sweep MEC

MT. SUMMIT, Ind. -- Randolph Southern's Tess Wise took second on Tuesday in the girls race during the MEC meet at Blue River.

Monroe Central's Hailey Norris was the top individual in 21:09 as she helped the Golden Bears win the team title. Union's Cally Arnett finished 17th.

Monroe Central also won the boys team title to complete the sweep. Wapahani's Stefan Harry won the individual crown in 16:59.

Union's Jason Bowling was eighth and Randolph Southern's Gary Hosbrook finished 12th.
