HUGE UPS to TrI County Girls Team ....a great testament to the hard work and dedication no matter how big or small you are.

6 girls total totaling 186 Great job!

Unofficially the new cinderella team imo....can't wait till next week!

Off I-65 around halfway between Indy and Chicago. Just north of the newest windmill farm that is going up.

We were sitting behind them during the awards and their excitement when they realized that they made the "cut" was so infectious!! Congrats to Tri County!! Also, congrats to the small school runners from our neck of the woods...

As someone who has been a part of both sides of the equation (attended Warren Central high school which has over 4000 students and currently a coach at a school of 180) I also have become quite fond of the little guy.

Great work girls, you are an inspiration and give all us little guys hope.

There was an inspiring article in the NWI Times this morning about Chesterton's front runner Melanie Buckmaster (unfortunately dq'd) She is in an inspiration to anyone who wants to fulfill their dreams no matter what disability they might have hindering them. Kudos to her and it was definitely a huge misfortune as to what happened... A really great read by Jim Peters of the Times.

Placed 20th - beating the 3rd-6th teams from the Brown County Semi-State and finishing only 13 points behind Culver. Great job Tri-County Girls!
