Photo of the Week

Postby Drake on Tue Sep 13, 2011 11:31 am

I'm accepting submissions for a "Photo of the Week" section on the site. If I have enough interest and enough good submissions on a weekly basis, I think this could be a very cool addition to the site.

Be artistic with your submissions. The P.O.T.W. could range from a lot of things. It could be one showing the exuberance of success, the dissapointment of defeat, the lead pack or lead runner at a big meet, a group of runners working through a certain part of a course, etc. The possibilities are endless!

I will be posting the Photo on Monday mornings starting this coming week so get your submissions in by Sunday night preferrably as I usually do the daily update between 7-9 am

Email submissions to dsterling4@gmail.com

I look forward to seeing what is submitted!

Cool, I enjoyed the photos that used to be uploaded quite often... Glad you are picking this up again!

Here are two more Photo's that were submitted to me from FlashRock. One was gotten to me a little late unfortunately but they are both some quality shots that were competitive for the P.O.T.W.

Anyone else think that the photo of Bloomington S's Smith & CN Sublette is perfect evidence that Smith should've been disqualified in that race? I mean really? Throwing your arm out and holding the guy back? I don't know about anyone else, but that is some of the worst sportsmanship i have ever seen in cross country...

Yes, he did put his arm out. But if they didn't call him out on it at the meet then don't worry about it. Gives Sublette something to work for :)

Current picture of the week makes me think we need a recount at the State Meet. Looks like North Central scored the top 5 places with their new roster of all Futsums.
