It's going to come down to Byrne and Futsum. I just don't see anyone else being able to hang with them. I could be mistaken though and that's why they run the race.

It's going to come down to who is healthy for the team titles, moreso this year than any other in recent memory.

Interesting reading on the boys state predictions. You never know how it will turn out but I can foresee a battle between Byrne and Futsum down that long finishing stretch. I think back to watching these two dual @ the Eagle Classic in Brown County last year. Futsum hit another gear 2/3's of the way thru that race and kinda left him. I'm certain that Tyler has made some adjustments to try and avoid something similar this Saturday. Anyone who was at the Trinty race in Louisville this year can vouch that Tyler is for real. He simply refused to lose and found another gear of his own at the end of that race to beat Kentucky's best (the Carmel folks can weigh in on this as they were @ that race). Now we'll see if he can do the same against Indiana's best. One thing's for sure, he will represent the south proudly and just maybe he can place one position ahead of his older brother's family best. There's even a rumor down here that he might run without his bib overalls on just to make it fair! The runners deserve good weather Saturday after what they've been thru the past couple of weeks. Here's hoping for a great race and good luck to all!

I was in that race, and I agree Tyler ran very smart he just sat in the mix until the last mile when he came up on me. Then in the last kilometer he just sort of started a deadening drive to the finish. He made it just look easy. Can he take Futsum? I’m not sure... I hope the best of luck to all competitors. It should be a fun time on Saturday.

FUTSUM! YEah man. team wise i got 1-6 camrle semistate teams and then... who cares dood they suck."

here is my predictions mann!

Individuals- 1-25 camrle semistate

teams- 1-6 at camrle semistate

The reason there is bias for the Carmel Semi-State is because all other semi-states are jokes compared to it.

Dan Porter could lead Carmel to a top 3 TEAM finish at the State meet but he has to run way faster than he did this past saturday. What happened to him or what it just a bad race?
