I realize a lot of people aren't going to agree with what others are saying but I've noticed that a lot of you are just down right rude. There are several I've noticed that frequently tear down another person time and time again. You need to stop worrying about what other people are saying wrong and stick with your own stuff. People get offended way too easily on here and it's ridiculous. Why can't we all just get along?

I did not see him at the AAU qualifier in Hammond on November 1, so i would assume he is not running them this year. Last year he place second in 10:18, 17 seconds behind the winner who ran 10:01.

Now do I care? nope not really. So the kid has some talent, but hes just a 6th grader, and so many things could happen from now to his freshman year: injuries, sicknesses, death etc etc.

Even if you don't care perhaps you should, at minimum, be polite in case the young man is aware he is being talked about. Jarit has great talent and is also a class act as a young man. He is coached by his father who is Barr-Reeve's high school coach and consistently runs one of the better small school programs in the state. I have watched and admired Jarit since he was inelementary school. In invitationals he will finish his race, recover quickly, and then run back up the course to encourage his team mates on. As a coach, I love to have athletes like Jarit; as runners, but more importantly as positive influences on a team.
