Hanover College Invitational accepting Post-Grad 10K Entries

Postby HC_tnf on Wed Feb 22, 2012 10:12 pm

March 31st, Hanover College will be hosting our home invitational. We're doing something kind of fun this year and working with Columbus Running Company to assemble a strong early season 10K. We've had a good number of collegiate entries and we're also allowing select post-collegiate male and female entries. We'll have some athletes running their first 10K, but we'll also have athletes looking to run marks that will make the national list. I'd expect the top men to open up at 15:00 and the top women at 17:00. Depending on field size, the races may be combined.

I'm sharing this in order to build a stronger field and offer athletes who are looking for that hard to find, fast early season 10K an opportunity to get out and race. In addition to the 10K, the Hanover Invitational will feature 13 collegiate teams, including several Indiana colleges and university.

For information about the entry process, please contact Coach Power @ powerb@hanover.edu

Serious inquiries only, please.

How fast does a post-graduate runner (such as myself) have to run in order to compete? I'm currently looking for collegiate and other track meets to compete in as unattached or as a post-graduate runner such as IWU, AU, IUPUI, DePauw, and other Indiana college/university meets.
