Danville Track & Field 2010

Postby WarriorXC09 on Sat Nov 14, 2009 10:45 pm

I am probaly going to get blasted for being so "biased" as some call it, and posting so many nice things about my team, but here goes. Not many people around the state probaly know Danville, unless you are in Hendricks or the surrounding counties. We are a smaller school with about 750-800 enrollment, by no means a Carmel or North Central. I think that everyone should be recongnized for running, even if their team cannot compete with track giants like Ben Davis, or Warren Central. Danville is the defending Sagamore Conference champ in track, and we finished 4th at the Plainfield Sectional. I think that our team has serious potential due to the fact that we lose very few seniors, and only one that scored points in large meets. I think that Danville can repeat in a Conference Championship, and could even compete for a sectional crown. The reason I say this is that our atheltes are as dedicated as anyone out there, and have been working very hard. Also, some of the surrounding schools have taken much bigger hits in terms of losing varsity participants. Here are our returning athletes and one of their, or their best times+what I think they will improve to come track time. Feel free to post info about your track team, girls or boys. I think it is important that people recognize what someone has does without them having to run at the front of the pack all the time, so here is my team.

Just curious how u get the projection? If so...4:38 1600 should assist to a much lower 3200 than a 10:28

I would also agree that he is Maddison Russell since he gets mass jumps from PR's - Projected, when others gets 5-8 seconds, he rolls 20-30 seconds.

You are correct I am. You sound very spiteful, the only reason I did this was because I try to hold myself to high standards, I am not trying to be arrogant or hateful, I have improved alot since those track times in the spring you make it sound like I am smashing my teamates and that is just not the case. Should never have posted this, people just can't read something and walk away, they have to find something that they can twist into negativity. I can understand y that one guy says he will type in capitals until the attitudes improve, if that is the case, he will be on caps lock for a long time.

Not bashing you or ur team, just simply gonna say. If your makin projections and u have high standards and your not trying to "smash" your teammates, then only put ur projection for yourself. Also just a list of returnees would have done the trick aswell.

I didn't say it was bad, I was just making the observation that one of these things is not like the others. I'm quite the fan of cockiness in a runner actually. But now that you mentioned it, do you not hold your teammates to the same standards that you hold yourself? A good thing to learn is you will never be the best you can be by yourself, so you will be a lot better off if your teammates make the same jumps you do.

You both make very good points, I can understand where you are coming from Chasepack. I think you both understand that this was not an offensive post and was ment to be about getting recognition for the whole team, not just me, and were merely pointing out some facts that you saw in the post. Hopefully some other IR posters will write things about their teams as well becasue I am interested about returning runners, and am always looking to learn more about teams I do not know especially the smaller ones like mine. I apologized for making my time drops so much more than others, but I did not really know what to put for most of them becasue I have not asked them what they want to run. Hopefully I can put this behind me, unless, of course, Colosseus finds something to bash as usual.

Been there done that man. Ask anybody that was using this site back in June, I had some of the most confidence. If you have a plan in line you can get up there. Just be realistic. Hope you have some special set up. Good Luck
Just doing what I can to represent Indiana track & field.

Speaking of University of Indianapolis, does anyone know what happened to Amy Hamilton. I don't see her in any results or on the roster this year.

Amy left after her first cross country season. She is now studying to be a nurse at a school near her home in Terre Haute. She does not run on a team.
