2011 MIC Pics and Vids

Postby Ancient_One on Sat Apr 30, 2011 3:04 pm

The number 2,5,6,7, and 9 ranked teams in the state met up at Ben Davis on Friday night Apr. 29, 2011. I feel really bad about only having boys distance coverage. Please, please if anyone would want to share the girl’s side or other events; go ahead and add to this thread. Awesome meet with many meet records smashed across a lot of the events. Great weather was an assist to the good performances and a comfortable night for fans. Walden, Stoner, Mudd, Etgen, Brahm, and others had great runs this night.

Great work. Further proof after watching that 3200 that Walden ran a picture perfect textbook race. Younger runners take note because that is exactly how it is done. Wow.

His Lap 1 and Lap 7 may be the same... but they went through the mile in 4:40. Lots of tactics. He is the smartest racer in the state and possibly the country. imo

So sorry about the lack of popcorn. The popcorn machine was broken, but we'll try to rectify this by next year's meet.

Thanks to all the fans who bought so many treats. We made a lot of money for the track program.

It was a lot of fun to see so many great kids at the concession stand! Also, we loved being visited again this year by a throws coach that just loves jalpenos. We think this gentleman coaches at either Lawrence North or one of the Terre Haute schools.
